Carmarthen Art Galleries

4 Galleries within 100 metres.

Not just for art lovers and creative shoppers, its also a good choice on a rainy day in Carmarthen, when its not so clear to be enjoying the rolling greens and blues of the West Wales Landscape.

All 4 Galleries are at the top of King Street.

King Street Gallery cooperative includes artists from a wide range of disciplines and it has a very good exhibition space http://bit.ly/35LnNel .

Origin Gallery is a co-operative of 25 local makers and artists https://origincarmarthen.com/

Oriel Bevan Jones Gallery supports local new talent as well as their local core artists http://bit.ly/2MWcqaF

Community Crafts, at the top of King Street is worth a look; its not a gallery but a treasure trove for crafters. The two women who run it provide a very knowledgable personal service. www.communitycrafts.co.uk/ .

Last but not least; Oriel Myrddin, opposite St Peter’s Church. Has an ambitious contemporary programme of temporary exhibitions. Free admission to this, the main publicly funded art and craft gallery in SW Wales. https://orielmyrddingallery.co.uk/about/

If you are staying in the Judges Library you will be able to enjoy some of our own artwork on display, including Linz illustration of Quay Street. See below.
